Expansion of the cryogenic grinding center Center for cryogenic proces

Together with our strategic partner, Air Liquide Deutschland GmbH, the new center will be equipped with vacuum-sealed ring lines.
This will allow us to supply up to 8 systems cryogenically. The corresponding liquid nitrogen storage system with an evaporator for the production of cold nitrogen gases is already installed and is connected to this ring main.

All outlets of the ring main are equipped with their own nitrogen control so that we can flexibly connect a wide variety of systems and system components to enable prompt processing for our customers, especially in the area of 3D printer powder preparation and chemical products.

The following system components, among others, are connected to the system:

  • Pin mill, counter-rotating, make Netzsch Condux, type CUM 300
  • Wide chamber pin mill, make Hosokawa Alpine, type CW 250
  • Universal pin mill, make Hosokawa Alpine with grinding disc diameter 160 mm
  • Hammer-cutting-grinding combination, make Fitz Patrick, rotor diameter 300 mm
  • Opposite jet grinding system, make Hosokawa Alpine, type AFG 200
  • Opposite jet grinding system, make Hosokawa Alpine, type AFG 400
  • Spiral jet mill, make Ebbecke, type ESM 450

The new ring line will be put into operation at the end of February 2021 and ensures a significant expansion of capacities in the area of cryogenic treatment and processing and grinding of innovative new product areas.

A. Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG
A. Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik: Sustainable and Innovative Experience, Know-how and Innovations are the basis for modern proces engineering The increasingly flexible requirements, combined with the continuously decreasing market cycle terms, demand for highly flexible and reactive processes for making specific products for our clientele. In order to support our customers in this dynamic market we provide the possibility to outsource, thus variabilizing costs and creating short term capacities and sample lot availability. Investment decisions and planning cycles often require huge amounts of time, hence extending the time-to-market, not allowing for an in-time market introduction. A. Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG will gladly support you in this matter. With our diverse capacities and specific expertise concerning the economic and technical framework, we offer the high flexibility and swift availability our customers are accustomed to. Through cost variabilization, the cost foundation is clear. Meaning: hidden costs, subsequent cost increases or unavailable capacities are risk factors that can be ruled out in advance. By providing the full supply-chain, we offer a comprehensive service allowing short-term market introduction of new products. A. Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG is specialized in developing and accompanying scale-up processes with its customers, leading to investments by A. Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG within a manageable timeframe of 6 – 12 months. Our main objective in doing so is agreeing on long-term contracts with our customers. Investments made are then usually returned over the contract term. The investment risk is split between the parties using an investment formula. Merely 50 % of the overall investment are added to the product cost. The remaining 50% are covered by A. Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG. In exchange the machinery remains the company’s property. This allows a clear cost allocation for maintenance, repairs and replacement, therefore all additional or hidden costs are minimized or fully eliminated.

New strategic outsourcing project in the field of liquid mixtures
A. Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG, a leading provider of strategic outsourcing projects, has designed a new system. With which up to 10,000 tons of liquid mixtures can be produced, stored and provided in various containers according to customer specifications. For this purpose, a new tank system is being built at the Schöneck plant, consisting of 5 finished goods tanks with 43 m³ each as well as raw goods tanks and 4 liquid mixing systems with a usable volume of 10 m³ each. The system, including piping, pump technology, filter technology and tank technology, is built in stainless steel and can fill liquid mixtures in IBC and tanker containers. A large part of the European market is covered with the system. Over 40 different idents are manufactured according to customer specifications. Due to the current development in the area of the corona crisis, it became clear that it makes sense to check the reliability of the supply chain chains. With this project, the production was brought back from another European country in order to be able to supply the end customers on time,
