Mettler-Toledo has grown the proven product range of the Pinmount weigh module family with a 100-ton model. The new weigh module for heavy capacity tanks offers dual integrated safety features. Its rocker-pin load introduction ensures high accuracy plus horizontal tank expansion and contraction to compensate for temperature effects.

The Pinmount weigh module family consists of seven models with capacities from 7.5 tons up to 100 tons. They are designed for building of tank, vessel, vehicle and conveyor scales with a high safety standard. ATEX and FM approvals allow for use in explosive environments. Their hermetically sealed stainless-steel load cells meet IP68 protection standards to ensure long life in harsh environments.

Double Security

Their dual anti-lift-up devices protect tanks and conveyors from tipping over in case of strong wind forces or seismic activity. Several integrated safeguards provide security in cases of extreme overload. Two optional stabilizers fix the tank and absorb torque forces from mixers and ensure short stabilization times.

Designed for Accurate Weighing

The load cell’s incorporated rocker pin automatically introduces vertical load at one point. This allows the load cell to move inside the module so that high accuracy is achieved while temperature expansions are tolerated. Each module is delivered with approval certificates that indicate compliance with requirements of the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) and the National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP).
