Diaphragm level indicator for bulk solids

KOBOLD diaphragm level indicators are used to monitor the fill level of almost any powdered, granular or crystalline bulk solids.
When the desired fill level is reached, the pressure of the bulk material on the diaphragm activates a micro-switch with toggle function, which can be used as a normally open or normally closed contact at an operating voltage of 220 V and a maximum of 15 A.
The corrosion-resistant diaphragm is contained in light metal housing with a flange ring, allowing it to be easily screwed into existing flange connectors. A built-in spiral spring provides the necessary initial tension for the diaphragm. A variety of spiral springs or diaphragms are used depending on the specific weight and structure of the bulk material. The built-in ordinary spring activates at a control pressure of just 0.2 - 0.5 kg. The range of standard diaphragms includes NBR diaphragms (0.5 mm or 1 mm thick) for predominantly powdered materials with a low specific weight such as soot, chalk, milk powder, coffee, semolina, sugar, pulses and cereal grains, and FPM diaphragms (0.5 mm and 1 mm thick) for predominantly powdered materials with a low specific weight such as soot, chalk, milk powder, coffee, semolina, sugar, pulses and cereal grains, and FPM diaphragms (0.5 mm and 1 mm thick) for predominantly powdered bulk materials with higher temperatures, as well as for plaster, fertiliser, dry sand etc.
These devices can be used throughout a temperature range of -30 °C to 150 °C.
Various construction designs also allow installation with thicker container walls, making this type of device a reasonably priced, straightforward and low-maintenance level monitor for powdered and granular bulk solids.
