Feeder control unit Easydos PRO

Now available for ATEX

After successfully passing the relevant laboratory tests the Gericke feeder control unit has been approved for use in explosive atmospheres containing combustible dust. It fulfills the requirements for category 3. Thus Easydos PRO is certified to be used in ATEX zone 22.

About Easydos PRO

The Easydos PRO was developed taking into account more than 40 years of practical experience in the design of gravimetric feeders and uses the unique TrendTec algorithm for controlling the feeder mass flow. The control unit achieves remarkably high accuracy and stability – even in rough industrial environments.

Easydos Pro and Loss-in-Weight-feeders

The key to success when it comes to pinpoint requirements in feeding and weighing processes is in the combination of the Easydos PRO with matching Gericke Loss-in-Weight feeders, e.g. the hybrid feeders of the DIW-E series.

Utmost feeding precision

This combination of advanced control and up to date mechatronic gravimetric feeders guarantees especially in continuous feeding processes a high degree of accuracy, which is comparable to the accuracy in static weighing. At the same time the sophisticated TrendTec Algorithm filters distinguish safely real weight data from external distance signals, e.g. caused by refilling operations and aspiration. Beside of the weighing signal the Easydos PRO permanently monitors the actual rpm value of the feeder drive. Also this set-up contributes to a significant increase in accuracy compared to common loss-in-weight feeders.

Tests under real production conditions can be conducted in the Gericke Test Centre.
