Customer preference power efficiency from MOLLET

Currentless level measurement technology as a substantial contribution

The request of many customers to safe energy can not only be fulfilled by high-tech sensors but although by level measurement devices that offer a reliable and cheap level control without any power supply. The devices of the MOLOSmembran and MOLOSpendu series completely meet these requirements and are used in the areas storage, transport and processing of bulk goods by many satisfied customers worldwide.

Many different technologies are used for level control and nearly all need 24 hours a day power supply for the operation of the sensors. MOLOSmembran switches are totally different. They are reliably able to show the level of bulk goods in several applications without any operating power supply. Powdery materials in the food industry, rough gravel in the construction industry or plastics will be detected without any problems. These sensors need no power supply, as the switching energy is provided by the weight of the bulk goods and spring tension.

Beside the membrane switches there is another technology for level detection that doesn’t waste any electrical power and that is using gravitation for the measuring process. Those are pendulum switches of the MOLOSpendu series suitable for full indication of powdery, granulated, and grainy bulk goods and preferred for mechanically filled silos and containers. Even in heavy applications these switches enable a reliable and very price worth level indication. Operation and installation of these switches are very simple and cheap as they need no cabling for power supply. They can be adapted to the specific application by different options.
